Buggy Kernel
Ubuntu 24.04 seems to have a buggy kernel. This has been observed on several systems. If you experience this issue, you should upgrade the kernel.
sudo apt install --install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-24.04
After the kernel is updated, reboot the server.
